Windows 8 Installation Compatibility Advisor Report
Windows Installation Compatibility Advisor Report is a new setup enhancement introduced with Microsoft Windows 8 Consumer Preview version.
When Windows 8 installer program runs, it analyses the installed PC configuration and installed programs, applications, etc.
After the analysis is completed, Windows 8 setup program displays the result as Windows Installation Compatibility Advisor Report.
In brief, Windows 8 Compatibility Advisor Report informs the setup user about the programs and applications to pay attention. These applications may not work on the new OS, Microsoft Windows 8. Or some feaures of those critical applications might not work as expected. The setup advisor can also suggest to reinstall applications after Windows 8 installation is completed.
